STRAWBERRY ROOT WEEVIL, Otiorynchus ovatus (L.)

Adults are about 4 - 5 mm (1/5 inch) long (half the size of the black vine weevil). They have a life cycle similar to black vine weevils. The timing of their presence in the field is also similar to black vine weevil. Refer to the section "KEY PESTS: DORMANT TO PRE-BLOOM" for more information on monitoring and control.
