Bedstraw: A 5-60 cm tall perennial herb with rhizomes. The stems are numerous and much branched, slender, weak, and lax. There are 4, sometimes 5 or 6 leaves per whorl. Each leaf is 5-20 mm long with a blunt tip. The whitish flowers are 3, sometimes 4, lobed and 1-1.5 mm broad. The fruit is without hairs and is 1-1.75 mm thick. The plants flower from June to September and are native to British Columbia.
